Chris Van Groningen is an accomplished Talent Partner with over 21 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, he is working at Aurora Innovation as a Talent Partner, where he is responsible for hiring top talent for the Health Technology Team. Prior to this, he worked at Facebook as a Talent Partner for the Calibra and Portal Hardware and Systems Engineering Teams. At Facebook, Chris played a pivotal role in building the Product Analytics team from the ground up for the Calibra Team. He worked closely with the Data Engineering and Data Science teams to develop pipeline strategies, engage candidates, and devise offer strategies. Moreover, he also helped build the Hardware and Systems Engineering Teams from scratch for the Portal team. His responsibilities included prioritizing roles, developing pipeline generation strategies, and interacting with leadership to ensure the success of the team. Chris has a diverse educational background, having completed his High School Diploma from Fremont and attending Mission College for further studies. He possesses a range of technical skills, including Data Engineering, Data Science, and product design, making him a versatile professional capable of handling complex projects. In his current role, Chris is leveraging his extensive experience to identify and attract top talent to Aurora Innovation, a company that is revolutionizing the automotive industry.
